The Founder / Principal

 

Gloria M. Mortera is a native of Portland, Oregon for the last 29 years. She enjoys a multi-facet design career of more than 20 years. Prior to coming to the United States, she worked under the tutelage of accomplished and successful Philippine architects while earning her bachelors degree.

Ms. Mortera holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Sto.Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She has been actively involved in professional and local community organizations including the Women in A/E/C, Portland Chapter and Institute of Real Estate Property Management. She has earned her certification as a Sustainable Building Advisor through a program administered by Mt. Hood Community College.

Portland is considered her home now because she enjoys the socio-cultural diversities of the city. Her experience in varied commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects provides her the ultimate tool for a design methodology approach to our ever changing environment. Her focus on design approach to healthcare of varying project sizes surpasses many designers in her field.
